The downside of reporting is, if there is no chance of them finding who has done it forget it, report it and it is logged, the insurance companies have access to this information, the more incidents in the area the higher your insurance premium goes and not just on your car insurance but your household insurance also. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

The call takers have to go through a pre prepared tick box script for all calls, most of which are irrelevant to your individual case. Frustrating for the aggrieved and the call taker. While I agree with the insurance issue and ad210358 is right, personally I would prefer to report it and let the police know about it.

Frustrating...I guess a lot of us on here have experienced it personally at some time or other. If you only fitted them recently, you might want to think back to who lives around you that might have seen you fitting them. My friend once had his car keyed, as did 4 others in the same road...turned out it was a little chav from 8 doors down. (He came from a broken home, according to his defence and was bored, so was let off with a "referral order")

Wasn't aware they did a 3.0i? Or was it one of those Tickford jobbies...they were White as well! I can only recall the 2.8i with the engine out of the Granada in it....and the bags of cement in the boot trying to hold the damn car in a straight line Foraging near Gaydon....

The 2.8 Capri was the Mark 2 version with the hatchback. Prior to that, with separate rear boot and, IMO, far prettier, the Mark 1 could be had with a full 3.0 litre engine. Lovely motor As the advert had it "The car you always promised yourself" Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

I remember once going to car craft in Wakefield. There was a fiesta in the car park that had the word c t painted on all 4 tyres and the bonnet. I reckoned they must have upset somebody? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
