There's always one tw Censored t who wants to change things! The Doctor should always be played by a man because I give you a cast iron guarantee that the show would receive criticism and flop in the ratings if a woman was in the role.

It's similar to that idiot who said when Daniel Craig steps down from the Bond role, a woman should take over and be called Jane Bond! Otherwise the movies will continue to be sexist. FFS! Get a grip!

If there was no choice at all and it was going to be a woman Doctor then the current companion Jenna-Louise Coleman would probably be a safe choice. Quirky and lively plus fit to boot Laughing LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Indeed Wink

But there is no rational reason why a Time Lord should not be assigned to a female.
Time And Relative Distance In Space is not distorted by gender. Even the Doc should know that Wink

No correction required - I've been with the Doctor before you were even a twinkle in your dad's eye. Dimension is indeed the official denotation of the D in TARDIS, however I was referring to the distance between a man and a women; a value in both space and time that leaves many men wondering what the hell the missus was talking about, or why she was doing this or that at any particular time. Doc, you really must think in more than one dimension if you are to graduate from the University of Gallifrey. Wink

Doc - how about addressing this concept:
For one moment we take the Doctor as a women, then Doc, would not the many enemies of the Doctor have more difficulty in both understanding and anticipating her, the Doctor's next move Rolling Eyes
