My Freelander is 3 yrs old on 5/12/13 and LR have just invited me to renew extended warranty from that date , when I bought the car in Feb this year it was covered by LR Dealer warranty to Feb 14 , thought the option to extend warranty would have been from that date but LR say Dec 13 .
Is the extra for LR assist worth the extra £15 per month and does it give much more than a standard AA/RAC policy which is usually cheaper than £150 py ? . I can get basic recovery ( no replacement car ) for £45 py .

If you have a warranty until Feb, then you don't want another until then. Speak with them and explain, or go through the dealer who sold you the car.
