Hiya, I just joined the FR 2 family recently, I was wondering if it's just plug an play in upgrading to bi xenon headlamps (2012) ? or do I need to make any modifications? Cheers.

To be legal bi-xenon lights need to be self levelling.
Believe it's been done by others and they simply change the bulbs back before it goes in for MOT etc.

And the reason that self levelling is required is that without it when the car isn't level they can dazzle on coming drivers. A real pain in the eyes!! If you are going to fit them do it properly.

In answer to your question, you can fit the complete Xenon headlights to the car and re-programme them to work. You already have headlight wash.

But be 100% legal you need self levelling as already mentioned. But I have not seen an MOT station yet who has failed because of this.
