United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

I ordered mine 31 Jan 08 and received it 27 Mar 08, but the dealer (at the time of ordering) did say that they managed to to change a 'stock' order to the spec I wanted, which allowed me to queue jump the build list.

I'm amazed that Dougden managed to get Sumatra on a Feb order when I was told only Santorini was now being built. Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.

Same for me ordered early Dec 07 a stock order with a delivery time of late Feb08, so then I waited until 1st Mar to take delivery. Salesman said the stock order would save time.. but then he would wouldnt he? At work

CG - So, where have you seen the colour to be able to compare it. As far as I am aware the interior colours have not been sent to the stealers yet!!

oops wrong again Laughing . Looks good but I personally would never have a pale interior to easy to get dirty . horses for courses.

Note to self ...pistachios are not almonds

I've been chasing my elusive fleet department for two weeks now to see when my Stornoway Grey GS is coming and guess what...they said there could be a delay due to the colour changes. I asked whether I could get it sooner by being more flexible over colour and I now have to confess that in the name of impatience, I've moved over to the dark side and changed to Santorini Black for delivery on 1 July.

I know there will be at least one supporter of this move and don't mind as I liked both colours anyway!

Mrs Simple said tonight that she always wanted black anyway...bl Censored typical!

Thumbs Up Dont think of it as moving to the dark side .. more as choosing a colour instead of opting for the default base grey colour. At work
