When I had a petrol mower I used 2 stroke oil from screw fix, its oil specifically for garden machinery. About 6 quid a bottle. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I will try and remember to ask my dad tomorrow about this. He manages a tool hire shop (40 years at the helm) and has serviced and repaired our Honda petrol mower which is still going strong at 20 years old! Tank of a thing lol.

Are we talking about oil for the engine of a 4-stroke petrol mower, or something else? If the former I use Qualcast Lawnmower SAE30 - the mower's not a Qualcast, but it claims to be suitable for all Tecumseh or Briggs & Stratton 4-strokes. Probably just picked up from B&Q, I can't remember now. |

When I drove the Impreza the lawn mower, chain saw and strimmer all found themselves running on Shell V Power, that's what the car had and It was easier to fill the car and the petrol cans in one go.
