Driving to work today in heavy rain and as I approached the turn on my right to the industrial estate, a black BMW 3 series convertible was waiting to turn right. He had plenty of time before I got there but not as much time to pull out before the car coming the other way.

He pulled out at speed and lost it! The back end went and he was sliding sideways down the road with his front end only just missing the side of the car coming the other way. He over-compensated with opposite lock and it then swung wildly the other way. He did eventually correct it but then drove off at speed towards quite a twisty road.

In his mind, he must have thought he was a driving god to correct the slide but really he's a stupid lunatic who shouldn't drive like that in the first place

I rang the police on 101 and told them about it. I knew there was nothing they could do there and then plus I didn't get the reg but they said they would pass the info on to officers out on patrol. The other bonus is that if he had an accident further on, my phone call would show the cops how he had been driving beforehand.
