Lightning Bolt caught on incar camera

Driving back from Lancashire Friday afternoon the M6 was flooded and seriously disrupted by accidents & to add to the fun I was dazzled by a bolt of lightning a few yards in front ! the sound was deafening !

It was all over in a flash ! Rolling with laughter

Oh it was really wet !

Fortunately I was in a Merc Sprinter , for me it was a close shave as I was struck by lightning as a pedestrian crossing a road in Otford in Kent in the 1970's

I've been waiting for that one ! So new it was coming Rolling with laughter

I guess if an earth lead had been dangling of the back it could cause a problem !

Yeah thanks I was fine but shaken and dazzled for a few moments as it was a huge bolt ! The van really shook !

I'm glad it didn't hit the van as its only done 1300 miles ! 200 less than my Freely and the Sprinter was new on Monday so would like it to last a little longer yet as had to wait a while for it as ordered with many factory extras.
I know why they are called sprinters because they go like lightning ! Rolling with laughter give the freely a run for its money and economy is better ! And boot is much bigger Jaguar x-type sport gone
