Sorry if i sound thick but does the average fuel figure represent consumption at that particular moment in time or is it average consumption since I last reset the computer. |

Right. But the nicest part of it, for me , is that I make say 200 Km in town and then a 150 Km outside and at the end of the trip outside town I end up with a bigger range than when I started so it ooks like a free trip but I know that there no such thing as a free trip with today's diesel prices. The trip computer on our trusty FL2's ain't as good as some others out there.

Conversely reset whilst you are cruising on a motorway in 6th and you will see some excellent figures for a short while (74.5 mpg for 18 miles on A14/M11 @ 70 mph). |

Sadly 99% of our fl2 running is in this state. Hence our 22mpg average Got to well over 40 on a run to Hull a few weeks back though. 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good! |
