Vibration

Hi all,I'm having what seems like a major (and expensive) intermittent problem with my car. It's a 2008 (57 plate) td4 SE with 79k miles.I have had this car since April this year and after about a month I had a mild vibration which seemed to envelope the whole car.It started at about 60mph and it stayed until I had slowed down to about 25-30 mph.It happened again about a month later this time at about 40mph.I went back to the dealer (non Land Rover) who agreed to have a look at it under warranty. They had it for a week but could not replicate the problem.Today it has happened again and it was worse than the other two times. It was as if I was driving over rumble strips or sitting in a Chinook!

Any ideas before I ring the dealer on Monday?

Thanks in advance,

Alan.

Sorry I cant remember the name of um but it sound like a Censored drive shaft knuckle to me,Think its called U J (universal joint )
If it is it means the drive shaft is spinning off centre hence the vibration

Yes you would think so but I had one go many years ago ( not FL ) up until it got really bad so I could work out what is was there was no telling how it would react each time I went out.
