None used in Australia. They use Mitsubishi Pajero (Shogun or Montero over there since pajero is spanish slang for ), Ford Ranger dual cabs and Toyota Troopys. Land Rovers are too expensive over here and the spares and dealer network are almost non existent. |

Haven't seen or heard of any Swiss Police Freely. They use Subarus here if some offroad capabilities are required.

Our local Police have a couple of freelanders for the rural villages, base models but always get through, winter up on the Lancashire moors can be pretty bleak.

Discoveries up here (Northumberland), but I did see a police-liveried Freelander in Boscastle (Cornwall) a couple of weeks ago. |

I follow a few motorway coppers on Twitter. I tweeted one this morning about if they use winter tyres. His response was that the Volvo's were fitted with them last winter but the 4x4's were not. Maybe that's why the 4x4 cop ended up in the garden? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker. Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White. |

We use D3s, D4s and a couple of FL2s in the ambulance service in London. They are not across the whole service just a small unit within the service. |
