Beeps and warnings

Misses was out and about shopping today in my freely Sad
She came out of tesco and all the warning beeps where going off and warnings in the display saying
Water in washer jets empty, petrol gage showing empty (even tho it had 3/4 of a tank) and satnav never came on Question
After a few mins of driving it all set back to normal - any ideas, or would you say it was just a glitch in the system Whistle BETTER looking half of the famous Twinlanders

England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Barolo Black

My wife came back the other day saying that the car needed filling up, low fuel light on etc. I did think it a bit odd, as the last time I used it there was just under half a tank. Now I know they can be a bit thirsty, but not that thirsty. She'd only been to Pilates. So set off to fill up, only to find it was back to just under half a tank. Been fine since.

Probably just a glitch. I wouldn't start worrying until it happens for the third time!

These things happen, I've had the car start up in M&R mode and refuse to come out of it. Only happened once, never again to date.

If it does happen a second time you could try a hard reset (i.e. battery disconnect and leave for a few minutes). Worth checking battery voltage and earthing too, in case the voltage is dropping too low when cranking.

Sounds like an ECU somewhere was a bit slow to report in.....

Put it down to a glitch unless it happens again. 2011 MY SD4 HSE + planning some interesting stuff

Just like bad pennies Whistle

Similar happened on my wife's Vauxhall and the daughters new Kia recently, both no fault found and been fine since.
