SatNav

Somehow I just couldn't justify the cost of a £1,500 SatNav so I have opted for the nice little hole in the dash. My question; has anyone found an aftermarket SatNav that sits nicely in the hole and still capable of receiving the satellite thingys?
Alternatively who does the OEM SatNav, I am guessing it may be apline? XS TD4 Zermatt Silver

The satnav is made by a company called Denso.

My TomTom GO910 fits perfectly in the cubby hole and picks up a full signal. I took out the rubber mat and stuck in one of the 'dashboard discs' you can buy on eBay, then I attached the TT sucker mount to it and the screen sits just level with the front of the cubby hole. Even ran the power wire down inside and through the dash so it doesn't dangle out. Looks great Cool

I'm using ppc and bluetooth gps receiver , need two powerwires. In my current opel it is a little bit too many wires over dashboard. I ordered my FL2 without factory satnav due to it's useless in Russia, lack of maps. So I will keep current one. How do you manage run powerwire inside.

Thanks ,

The fascia panel around the radio and heater controls is really easy to remove, just pull firmly towards you from the bottom. Then remove the 2 torx screws hidden under the rubber ledge and the whole dash piece lifts away. There is a hole in the back of the cubby area already which you can feed the sat-nav power wires through. Took about 15 mins in total.

I have the older TomTomGO 300, that also fits in the cubby. My fitment is less permenant, I just pull the rubber mat in the cubby forward about 20mm and the TomTOm sits quite firmly on top of it. If you look in the gallery section I posted some picutres of my fitment there.

I checked http://www.navigation.com/landrover for europe maps but the maps available for FL2 do not include a map of Greece. Does anybody know if one will be available soon or how I could obtain one anyway (from another source maybe). Or is my navigation system just useless for use in my country Big Cry ?

can someone tell me what the size is of the opening when you do not order navigation ?
it makes it easyer to look for a aftermarket.
