MOT Certificate error

I took the wife's car to have its MOT today. It passed no problem but on getting home the wife noticd that the garage had got the mileage wrong on the certificate. Instead of it reading 10929 it read 100929 miles! I took the certificate back and they issued a correct one. Just something to note on future tests, it could have looked like we had clocked the car when we come to sell it! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White.

Well spotted. I'm a registered MOT tester (cars) and wrong mileages cannot be corrected after 7 days. My bike was issued with a certificate with 36,000 miles on it instead of 3,600. I noticed it two weeks later. Embarassed Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

The wife spotted it straight away, she's a primary school teacher and said she spotted it straight away as she works with numbers everyday (I was yawning by then!). Its funny as I was reading about MOT tests, failures and appeals this week so I knew to take the certificate back straight away. The tester was really apologetic, said he hadn't made a mistake like that for years. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I had them put my MG down as a Rover on the MOT certificate..noticed it quickly but in that time the garage had been taken over by another dealer and couldn't correct it...Had to send it away to VOSA to get it amneded

That must have been in the old days of hand-written certificates. Couldn't happen now days as you have to input the last 6 digits of the vin plus the reg number before you can start the test and the 'putter tells you what make/model/variant/colour/weight etc it is. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I bought a Vito a couple of years ago with 80,000 on the clock (and on the MOT]. When it seemed to be racking up the miles too quickly, I realised the odometer was reading in km not miles. I had to take it to a VOSA test station but they issued a new certificate with the reading converted. 30,000 miles legally clocked - result.
