Evoque wheels work perfectly on the freelander.

I fitted 255/45 R20 tyres as opposed to the 245/45 R20 that the evoque has. The slightly larger size fills the arches better I think.

The thicker sidewall does look better. Thumbs Up

I may look at the 20" wheels next year, perhaps the shadow chrome ones, I have the Evoque 19s on at the moment and though they look good they are a pig to clean. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

The 255's don't look out of place, but I prefer to stick to the correct manufacturers size.

It's a myth though about filling arches. The lower profile of the Evoque 20's is purely an optical illusion which makes the arch gap look bigger.

There is only 4mm difference between the standard 18" and 19" to the 20". The bigger wheels and lower profile tyres just make the arches look emptier.

The interesting thing, is that 255 55 20's on wheel arch gap is less than 1mm than the standard fitment of 235 60 18". Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

You can't argue with mathematics CG. As said, it is an illusion. There is only a 4mm difference so physical there is not really any noticeable difference. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I run them quite high all round 36 psi iirc.

As for the tyre size, the 255 size it actually the correct size as it's the same diameter as the 16,17,18 and 19" sizes. It's the 245 one that is the odd one out. And yes, it visually is different. I had an evoque for a short while and it's 245 looked smaller and drive harsher.
