Build Times

Does anyone know how long it takes to build and deliver an F2. I have a build date of 8 July for a Lago Grey SE with Almond interior. Also, as a bloke I've no idea of what Almond is (alpacca replacement colour for MY 09) - Stealers don't help much either - can anyone help?

If its helps my seat where manufactured 11/02/2008 and I was driving the car 15/03/2008, the only this you have to work out now is how long the seats are manufactured before the car Wink

I've been told that manufacturing actually takes about two month but the orders from the dealer are not processed immediately after they have been received as orders have to wait in a queue so from when you give yo Question ur order to the dealer it would be over 2 month for delivery. Also time depends on the model and extras you choose.
Is Lago Grey replacing Stornoway grey becauseI did not hear of Lago grey before FREELANDER 2 TD4 SE (XS UK) IZMIR BLUE SIDE STEPS COLD PACK BI-XENON TINTED WINDOWS - AND PROUD OF HER

Ordered mine on 8/02/2008 and was told it was ready on 26/04 (Didn't get to pick up until 8/05 due to holiday)but I saw the file on the salesmens desk when I collected it and I don't think it was actually ordered by stealership until 22/02. FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

Matei - I understand that 2009 model year F2 will be built from 2 Jun 08 and there are 2 new colours, LAGO GREY which is darker than stornoway and MARTINIQUE BLUE. Alpacca as an interior colour is being replaced with ALMOND. Stealers should have the colour patches but mine dosn't for ALMOND. All I have been able to get so far is"slightly darker than Alpacca and a more neutral Beige. Blokes don't do colours - I want to see what it looks like whilst I can still change my build options.

Had a look here http://www.landrover.com/int/en/Vehicles/F...erview.htm
and to my surprise there was no Lago Grey and Martinique Blue among the colors, but have seen on another dealer site that both colors can be ordered although they did not have samples of any color. On this site they said 8-10 weeks delivery max if not in stock.
I am sure both colors are great as until now there is not a single color that does not suite the FL2.

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

I ordered my 2007 HSE TD4 Januar 29 and received the wonderfull car April 27 (2007) so it seems the production time has gone down in a year, but transport to other countries must vary too.
