Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Caspian Blue
engine mgt light came on and intermittent acceleration

whilst overtaking today (i was giving it beans) the engine mgt light came on and the throttle seemed jrky at low revs once up to speed was normal but light wont go off its in for service on thursday. Anyone any ideas and do we think it will be ok till thurs?

An 09 plate doesnt have a Diesel Partical Filter does it?

If it keeps coming on after restarting the engine then theres definately something a miss, no doubt the dealer will have pleasure unloading your wallet contents in the process Big Cry

Doesn't have DPF but it will have a fuel filter which is what I suspect Chicken George was on about being blocked.
