Cleaning Blocked AC Evaporator Drain

I have mist being blown into the cabin from the center vents intermittently.
It doesn't smell and so have eliniated leaking coolant and refrigerant gas. Having searched the forum found someone with a similar problem which was caused by condensed water not draining from the evaporator and being blown back into the cabin, so think this is my problem.

Question is where is the evaporator drain and how do I unblock it? Anybody had to do this?

Regards

Chris

Found pics from previous post showing the AC drain on the left of the drivers footwell.
The carpet was soaked when I lifted up the rubber mat.
So took out the trim panel on the side of the transmission tunell and took up the carpets. Water, water everywhere.
The drain from the AC unit connects to a rigid right angle plastic pipe passing through to outside with a soft rubber connector.
Pulled this off and caught a beaker full of water.

Couldn't spot where the pipe emerged underneath (ground clearance meant I could slide under without having to jack up and put on axle stands!!) as it was hidden by the heat shield. In fact the heat shield looked like it had been pushed into the car about where the drain passes through. Pulled out the heat shield.

Next used a piece of electrical cable pushed down the drain pipe from the inside to clear out crap. Reconnected rubber pipe from AC unit.

Turned on AC and left on defrost cycle to dry out the AC system and carpets and lots of water dripping out the bottom of the car.

Hopefully problem solved and no more fogging up or mist.
