Since upgrading to ios7 last week, my iphone lost its BT pairing with the car. I re-connected it, but am no longer able to change music tracks using either the steering wheel buttons or the buttons on the dash. Has anyone else who has got ios 7 on their phones had any issues with it?

I have got the same problem with it in my Freelander 1 it must be a bug! Also when in the car I cannot even skip the tracks using my iphone! Theirs not an update for iOS 7 yet as far as I'm aware....

No, no problems whatsoever on mine.

However, I would advise that you launch the Music App on your iPhone, and check out the new layout...you will notice that all your playlists/Recently Played/25 Most Played etc etc are no longer there, and you will need to create new ones. Foraging near Gaydon....

Same here. I can't change tracks with the steering wheel or by double tapping the home button when in lock screen.

Last night apple made available an updated version of
the new iOS 7 hopefully this is the problem now fixed

The new iOS fix is for security fixes.

I've upgraded my iPhone to iOS 7.0.2 and had no problems with my MY13 XS connecting to the phone. I don't have to start up the music player either to control playback - it just 'works'

I have found a cure on an apple website, as it seems many people were having the same issue with a wide range of cars. You need to delete the stored settings in both the car and the phone and start the pairing process again. After updating my iphone 5 the (security update) my iphone works fine now! Can use the the unit to change tracks again

Everything has been going too smoothly so far, tonight when coming home from work I was unable to change the tracks with the steering wheel controls , will have a play around tomorrow. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Its not working again!

Problem has returned. I tried pairing it again this morning and it still wouldnt work properly. I cannot understnd why it would work ok one day, and not the next. The day after I upgraded to Ios7 it worked, and then stopped the next. I renewed the pairing the other day and it worked again, but not today. My ones working again, I tried one of the fixes from the above link.

Settings > control centre > turn off access on lock screen > turn off phone
Switch on phone > settings > control centre >turn on access on lock screen > lock phone

I done the above sitting in my bus and it still worked fine.

May not work for everyone but has solved my problems for the time being  21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Oh no,

My son upgraded my telephone to IOS7 without my knowledge - would prefer IOS6 as was happy with that!

Have since found out that I cannot go back to IOS6 unless I reset the whole telephone and re- install IOS6

Funny enough my telephone would not work the other day in the car - guess I know why now!
