Today is the day......

Well - today is the day!!

Assuming the dealership doesn't mess up (in which case I will be down there inserting blunt objects clumsily into their person), then I collect the (new to me) Freelander today!!

Been slumming it for a year in a runabout, so looking forward to having a proper car again.

The wife has christened him "Dexter".

No. I don't know why either.

Yes. I know.

I got off lightly. The old Focus was called "Rambo".

Although, secretly, I kinda liked that one...... Embarassed

Dexter has now spent his second night tucked up in my garage, and (as you do with new cars) I have been using any excuse to go for a drive.

I can honestly say that I am REALLY going to like this car. A lot!!

What a beautifully smooth, relaxing drive it is.

I know that it isn't a quick car, but it does OK - and I find myself driving slower and in a more relaxed manner.

Love it!!

Smile
