Don't push the start button immediately after inserting the key. I have noticed that the last few days Never noticed it earlier, but as Iv'e got more accustomed to the car now so maybe I put it in and press quicker that before 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. True. I do the same but people keep giving you these strange looks if you don't start off immediately at the petrol station after filling up. Also, I suppose, if you stall the engine and then wait a bit untill you restart you'll probably also get some nervous horns. But if you restart too quickly after a stall you might block everything. Read somewhere that due to so much electronics the FL2 should be handeled as a PC. Mind you who wrote this probably did not use a PC for off-road lately. I didn't get the car take to the dealers as I didn't have time to wait around for the lowloader to arrive as I had to catch a flight later that night, so the car stayed in the shopping centre car park for five days. It's all fine now, started and stopped a number of times without any trouble.

I've not had any issues with mine since getting it two months ago, and as I am guessing yours is a 2007 model then maybe it requires a software update...... There were a number of issues fixed on early vehicles with software changes, so maybe it is worth checking with Al Tayer service. |

Lucky you did not find a flat battery as unless closed by remote the FL2's electronics stay awake.

Not much to say really, except I'm a Yorkshire man and a farmer so get plenty of tight wad jokes made about me. Mrs G is a scouser and accepts 'scouser jokes' as a part of British humour.
