2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Martinique Blue

Mystery part

Whilst rummaging through the garage looking for Freelander 2 bits to sell I found this...

It was with the towing bracket which we never actually used so assume its something to do with that.

answers on a postcard please

Looks like a blanking plug for the receiver?

I thought it might be, but we must have driven around without it fitted for the past 3 years. And as the car's gone, couldn't take a look.

Any idea what towbar you had? I'm missing a blanking plug for a Witter detachable.

This one

We never used it because if we needed to use the bike rack we used it with the D3.

I drive the D3 so am more familiar with that than the FL.

It's the blanking plug for the Brink/Landrover towing bracket. Ralph
