No, it will be fine trying to get it to slip in 3rd when stationary, ideal speed is about 45 50 and accelerate in 4th, or go around a roundabout in third, accelerate hard as you leave the roundabout, watch the rev counter, if revs go up rapidly without a big rise in speed, it has issues. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

England 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Dynamic Manual Fuji White

Well i've seen another FL GS which although slightly newer than the previous ones i've viewed (58 plate) has similar mileage (63k) and is up at £12k - does this seem too high? (non LR dealer)

It looks great in photos but as it's 100 miles away i've emailed asking for more details and a honest description before i make the trek over.
It has roof bars/ cross bars which i'm not fond of so are these easy to remove and would i need any blanking pieces?
It's a 1 owner car with no towbar so i'm hoping it's had an easy life

Any opinions welcome Smile

I'll get 1 in the end.....................................hopefully

There are posts on here about removing roof bars. It's not that simple a job. The cross bars just unlock.

There is another thread running at the moment where a dealer has offered 14k for a 2 1/2 year old GS SD4 Auto, three years newer, 2k more. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

That sounds good - bet the dealer will be putting it up at £16995+

Looking at various websites prices for 2007 models with 60k upwards seem to vary from £10k - £15k Shocked think this 58 plate (2009 registered) seems reasonable?
It has the roof bars/ rails (which i'd remove so it would fit in the garage), clear side repeaters, mudflaps, ful T+T, serviced, 1 owner, fsh - should be ok for the small mileage i do (80+ miles a week)

Oh - they don't have a DPF do they? think i understand it's just the later SD4s which have them fitted

Censored - is there any way to tell from the reg number? Sad
why would anyone want a DPF as an option?
DVLA list the tax as
6mth - £143.00
12mth - £260
is this correct for a non dpf as i guess if it has 1 fitted the tax will be cheaper than a non dpf?
