You can check phone compatibility using the links in the owners section of the Land Rover website.

Hi lad, I've just had a look on the LR website and entered my old 07SE VIN which did not show your S4 mini as a compatible phone. It did show my older S mini (GT S5570) with partial functionality. I then checked the site with my MY13 VIN and it showed the S4 mini as fully compatible. It also showed my old mini as fully compatible (and it does work well in the car). Looks like a new car or older phone 2007 SE Manual : Gone and missed but 2013 HSE Lux is better!

Cheers!!! It was funny that the car found the phone but the phone didn't find the car. Wonder if there is any update available to allow them both to connect. Only want to be able to answer the phone. Don't want all the other features. |

I just tried my wife's S4 Mini on my '07 SE. It took 4 or 5 attempts, during which I deleted all off the old phones on the car. It eventually did pair and loaded the the phone book. At the risk of stating the obvious, have the car searching (pressing OK when prompted) and with "make visible to nearby" ticked and "scan" pressed on the phone. |

Seems if you still have app running the s3/4 will not connect to system.

I connected my Nokia to MY13 FL2 which was accepted. However the phone only makes a connection with the car running and when the radio is turned on. The phone disconnects when the radio is turned off even when the ignition is on and the engine is running.
