IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Will all those attending please see the information in the following link, I was going to e-mail it out but with very few e-mails from people this may be a better option. It is information sent from Land Rover regarding the factory visit. Health n Safety blurb and so on, it is important so please read it, it is too late on the day to simply turn up in flip flops and shorts and say "well no one told me" when you are refused entry.

So here is the itinerary:

10:00 - 12:00 Meet at Speke Hall Car Park, very easy to find, Myself and others will be there providing
Tea/Coffee for you. Some members bring along local delicacies to try or take home, this
is not compulsory and don't feel you have to/should have brought anything.

12:00 - 12:15 Arrive at Halewood LRE centre, 5 minutes from Speke Hall
A word of warning, it is not acceptable to pull into a parking space, reversing in is the
only option

12:15 - 13:00 Lunch and refreshments at the LRE building, they have a shop for those with a
compulsive buying habit.

13:00 - 13:30 Safety brief and the fitting of rather fetching florescent jackets, we will be split into two
groups

13:30 - 15:00 Factory Tour, shouting "ere mate, you've dropped a washer" doesn't go down well

15:00 - 17:00 Demonstration Drive on the Halewood course

17:00 Home


Directions to Speke Hall
Follow the signs for Liverpool John Lennon Airport, once at the airport, you will see Brown tourist signs for Speke Hall, drive through the five barred gate entrance and follow the road round onto a large car park.

Hi Mav, not a problem, the details are earlier in the thread, just give Danielle or any of the staff a call and they will take your money, quote HALE04, they will know what it is, let me know if you are coming and I will PM my contact details, I am sure you are well aware of all the info contained in the documents, regarding attire etc within the factory.

For those attending this event, I'm bringing some home made sticky ginger cake to be consumed at Speke Hall although I suspect late arrivals will find it's all gone
All other donations will be greatly received and consumed although not compulsory.

For those with a clunky manual gearchange, I shall have my spray grease at the ready, just let me know
I won't have time to fix your slipping clutch though

Sorry guys, I can't get the day off due to work loads. Gutted really as I would have enjoyed meeting you all.

Everything confirmed today with Danielle so were good to go, 17 altogether, so a decent number, hopefully you will all arrive safe and well.

There is one place free, it needs to be paid for obviously but yes, Danielle has indicated she will cope with 18.
