Photo Day Richmond/Nork Yorkshire

heading up to Catterick tomorrow, dropping the caravan off for some work to be done, then possible a trip to Alt-Bergs at Richmond for some new boots

Think after that possibly a day up that way, so I might take advantage of been free and head off for some photos

Anybody know of some good locations Question Thinking, hills, deep valleys and my car in the shot maybe for the calendar Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Aysgarth falls in the Dales are nice mate. The Dales is a good drive out anyway, lots of little villages to stop off in. Hawes is popular place to stop for lunch, should be quiet during the week aswell.

I was thinking asysgarth falls and surrounding hill around Hawes as the cheese factory is there and always worth calling in for sample or lunch as I call them Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I thought that was a meat restaurant Confused

I'll be out on my own so will probably just pick up a bacon butty or a pasty

See how it goes, and what the weathers like Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Wensleydale Heifer absolutely fish.

Nice part of the world - I live in Wensleydale.

Take a look at any of the little roads that go between Wensleydale and Swaledale. Two go over from Askrigg, one from Redmire to Grinton, one Leyburn to Grinton or Buttertubs at Hawes.

Depends where you are heading but Bishopdale down to Kettlewell a nice run South. North up Arkengarthdale and to Barnard Castle.

Wind your way up to the highest pub in the country at Tan Hill.

Semmerwater nice on a good day.

Just hope it is less grey for you than it is today. Thumbs Up

Had lunch at the Tan Hill and took a few snaps

Worked my way over the top from Richmond and down through Buttertubs Pass to Hawes

Passed a grouse shoot with dogs running around fetching the birds too

Nice day out, with a course of free cheese at Hawes Cool Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Nice pic, looks like you had a good drive out. I've got the same boots, nice and comfortable, they've been resoled a few times lol

You don't see many Forward Controls out and about these days! Good to see one still in use.
