After lurking on this board for a while I took the plunge and took delivery of my FL 2 GS Auto on April 1st (not ominous I hope!!!). She's a black beauty in Sumatra and got her detailed last week. The pics were taken straight afterwards and I hope you'll agree the results are pretty good.

Im very superstitious about things like that and think I woiuld have rather waited until the 2nd April to pick her up. I took delivery of a brand new Vectra nine years ago that had 000013 on the milometer on delivery!! Two years later and it decided to go aqua-planing on the motorway and hit the central reservation at 60mph. Needless so say she was wrote off, thankfully I was only shook up.

Can you confirm the 'fleck' colour in the Sumatra, it's been blogged as silver and as blue on the 'Blacks' thread.

Will you get privacy fitted? Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.

Sumatra , ebony cloth , standard spec GS auto plus spare wheel.

Supplied by Williams Land Rover Manchester. Bought at 6 months old but with delivery miles only and did a deal for £22k with no trade in which wasn't bad I reckon. Haven't had any dealings with their Service Dept as yet but the salesman (John Ryan) was extremely helpful and has even offered to collect and return when servicing is due and lend me a RRS for the day when the time comes. They've agreed to do the first service for £295 too

Love the car and the trip computer is showing 29.6 mpg at the moment with most of the miles being a 35 mile return motorway drive to work and a light right foot.

I got my new toy on March 20th and on March 23 did this!

Ed I am sure you had a real blast!!! Looks fantastic, and as you said it did a great job, I guess that the FL2 didn't have any issues in the mucky stuff.
