There was not enough room between the front cylinder head and bonnet to comply with these pedestrian laws.

There was also talk of a Yamaha V8 powered Freelander 2/ LR2 in 2006. Wonder of they had a prototype for this as well?

my mate imports ww2 jeeps from usa, a few of them come with v8's dropped into them, sadly they have all been in non running order so far so we cant play, also 50 mph is scarey enough in a jeep, more speed isnt always good At work

A few companies online will fit a tdv6 lump to a defender, complete with looms etc
