Spent the day at the Goodwood Revival last Friday, managed to find an old Land Rover and a few more expensive motors Shocked in fact a lot more expensive. Laughing

my mate bought a 'fully restored' series one from a restorer in Birmingham.

the guys idea of fully restored was filler respray new cushions and gauges, respraying engine axles etc is not restoration, the thing is a money pit, head failed, wheel bearings worn out brake piston all seized. many seized in bolts found whilst repairing these, not been apart for years


the guy on my farm who restores WW2 jeeps strips them down entirely and replaces/checks everything. At work

A friend went to Goodwood revival and sent me this photo, I make some chassis upgrade parts and hope to have another friends car so equipped for next years race.
