Quite possibly a mounting point for the jig which carries the body around Halewwod during assembly. The body is supported on a mechanism that circumnavigates the plant while various parts are attached, only once the drivetrain is attached can it stand on its own two feet. |

It's the subframe mout for a ride height sensor for auto levelling headlamps (HID) there will also be two holes in your A arm for the corresponding bracket |

Hi Roland. I assume there was no pun intended with your wife's HID's being 'brilliant'. I only picked mine up on Saturday and haven't been out in the dark yet. I'd better find some excuse tonight!
