My horn sounds like brum the cars!!

I don't use my horn very often but was leaving my in laws today and thought i'd give them a pip good bye, as you do!

but instead of the usual beefy big car horn, all that was emitted was what can only be described as a forced fart!

later on once I was away from houses etc I thought id try it again, same problem so I just held it on for 30 seconds and eventually the normal horn kicked in.

I'm thinking faulty wiring or faulty horn itself i'm guessing there is two speakers or whatever you call them as it sound twin tone.

so what I need help with is
1. Where are the actual horns located I cant find them any ware
2. Has this happened to anyone else
3. how much is a new horn roughly. is it worth just ordering new ones anyway

Thanks in advance for the help

Don't think it's a wiring fault.
Probably quite simply due to lack of use Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

The Horns are not easily accessed, they are behind the front bumper, near the number plate mounting.

I had the bumper all off about a month ago to fit a new Intercooler hose.
Maybe I interfered with something.
I'll have a look when I get a minute. Might be able to see something if i take the sump guard off.
