If you have changed the interior lights to LEDs it's a blown fuse.

I had the same after changing the bulbs, came on when doors but not when switched on, booked mines in for them to say it was the fuse that had blown  21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I believe the glovebox light is on the same fuse as the interior lights. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

If you look at the glovebox there's a little 'nipple' on 4 retainers that you can pop out backwards.

You then get the holder in your hand and have to ease the bulb out gently with a small screwdriver. I changed mine to LED in both the freelanders I've had.
