And the problem with that option is that you loose all the DAB quality...... FM has a limited sound range even when directly connected.

Problem is that there is no amplifier and coax attached to the rear LH window (unless you already have DAB fitted). I did try connecting a Roberts DAB radio to the window aerial (without an amp) and achieved decent reception. Not sure about the connecting permanently, as it seems to be some type of press stud affair. I have used a PURE Highway connected to aux input and external mag aerial with good results.

You can get a we converter box which allows you to use the FM antenna for DAB reception. garioch43
