Or save the money and put it towards next years holiday for the kids - Europa Park near Frieburg in Germany is one of the best theme parks in Europe and very reasonably priced, as I understand you can stop there with your van.

i am already booked in at York, though I use Beechwood Grange which is a little more than a walk away

Cracking camp site with a pub next door just outside leyburn, north yorks very close to masham . Just can't think what it's called, gimme a while and I'll find it. i was thinking of one at Appletreewick (i think thats the place i went to once when i was young and full of *** with a young lady friend) , short walk to town and a pub (the fox iirc) which used to have a load of snuff at the bar and there is a restaurant i think on the same row, something Heifer (not that i went there) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

many hotels or probably all of them have restaurants in the building, food for thought isnt it? all that money spent on a van and your sat inside it contemplating a tin of baked beans At work

I worked in a hotel in America for a couple of months, years ago (near Boston). I never used the towels to clean the toilets never, honest . At work

Eaten at both now (L'Enclume just the other week) and would definitely go back to L'Enclume. Fat Duck is a great experience and you can feel the 3 star service, but the a la carte menu has been dropped so just the tasting menu which rarely changes. We're big fans of Heston but his London restaurant (Dinner) is looking more appealing - not been there yet.
