Don't mix your metaphors Another tick on the list today, 11 cars so far with another about to confirm, plenty of time to get your name down and meet up, great to hear from McP too Let's hope it wasn't a flash in the pan |

I'm thinking of rattling my collection tin at the 'meet', I renewed my Pirelli tyres this morning for new of the same. They still had 3mm on them but with winter on the way please respond generously |

What mileage do you get out of them and do you mind sharing how much? I am on my second set, changed them around 3m, bought a set off a member who put winter tyres on his car immediately, got a bargain at £450 for the four, will cost me a bit more next time, although with the price might plump for a set of wheels and tyres. |

I put these 18" wheels and tyres on about 14,500 miles and now at 40,000 miles, so about 26,000 with a good 3mm left of even wear.
