How do you meen up and down like a yo-yo ,did you press the window switch and the window just kept going up and down or it just did it without you touchiong the switch |

When closing it reopened, unable to keep closed, first time used, all other windows ok

David, have you asked what the real problem was? I've seen the problem on other cars (it seems quite common) but always wandered how it can be fixed. Do they have to take the door trim away? |

It took about 5 mins in the car park, I was told the one window was not calabrated correctly, now ok David David |

It sounds like the window had not been "expecting" to hit the top of the frame, so "thought" it had hit an obstruction and so reversed. Calibrating it to expect the window frame will correct this. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

Window calibration is possible by the owner. I mentioned on another thread that I'd had a problem with the auto close on my windows. But, having looked in the manual there is a procedure in there for re-calibrating the open-close settings. If you go to page 79 of the manual (bottom right of the page) this explains what you can do yourself. It worked for me.

Hi Can you explain to me how to do this reset. The passenger window will now close properly...it gets to the closed position and then opens again halfway. The best I can get it is with about a 1cm gap (not the best in the rain)

it sounds like the anti trap mechanism is causing the window to reopen as if there is a something trapped
