Please can we discuss more of the thread title and less of what we feel each of us know about unions and politics. |

If DHL are involved its not good, we have dealt with the Transport side of them, everything by the book, some Depots ok, others very difficult, the company name suits them well, Drop it Hide it Lose it. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

So do I. Enough said on that one I feel.
They won't.. They never have. And never will, until we are all <equal> in their perverse and warped communist mentality.
Likewise. As is commonplace with this lot, it's all about getting one over on what they still class as the nasty bigoted "Old Empire". How they have been allowed to propagate unchecked in today's day and age after the NUM days of '84-85 astounds me...unfortunately in life you will always encounter these cretins that will argue that black is white. Let's hope JLR have a Plan B,C and beyond....personally I would hate to see one of the last proud BRITISH icons be shipped abroad in its entireity because of t0sspots like Red Len and his congregation et al.... Politics/differences of opinion aside, this needs resolving, and FAST! I admire the workforce for standing up for what they believe in, irrespective of the rights and wrongs. However I do think 6.2% is a bit ambitious, yes I'm a Unite member and no I don't agree with all that they do. I've been involved in one strike, not over money, we had bully for a manager who prayed on the weak. We felt we were forced into it because of the managements refusal to come and talk with us.

Not at all...just someone who is passionate about British manufacturing, and wanting this country to have something to cheer about.
All is great at my factory, thanks for asking. We employ over 80, and a quarter of those in the Press Shop alone, who are proud of what they do and not ONE of them belongs to a Union either. Good working practices and an open Management structure negates the need for one.
Very true. Unfortunately, militant leadership and lemmings spring to mind. What Len says, goes. No discussion. Or so it would seem!
