When maggots attack!

To cut a long story short, an army of flies descended on our wheelie bin recently and the repellant air freshner thing failed to repel them. So today came the maggots! Opened the lid and plenty of them were squirming around on top of the bin liners. My dad thought he had the answer when he rocked up armed with strong neat bleach... The maggots laughed at the bleach and carried on with their business Shocked

I had a plan though and you should use this too when faced with pests etc: Jeyes Fluid. Sold in metal tins because it would probably melt plastic, this is the napalm of cleaning products. Suffice to say, once this hit the maggots, they squirmed no more. Mr. Green

Must be the warmer summer cos never had this problem before. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

We had the same situation recently but fortunately the bin men were coming the next day. When the bin was emptied I washed the bin out with bleach as it was stinky. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Doctor doctor..your memory is failing you...think back to the green death...
