Any guidance as to discounts available on 2013 model HSE? Ideally for ex-dem or used. All advice appreciated.

If the car is sensibly priced to sell (which few are!), you should be able to find a MY2013 HSE/HSE Lux for circa £30k. I know this to be true, because my latest one was up for grabs at that price, with just 4000 miles on it! (ex Dealer Principal owned) Foraging near Gaydon....

TOP TIP: Do NOT buy an HSE/HSE Lux in Silver with a reg beginning OV, OE or OY with around 6000 miles on.. They are most likely to be ex LRE cars, and will have had a proper hard life!  Foraging near Gaydon....

Good advise - but remember not all of the off road fleet are in Silver nor are the only off road vehicles owned by Land Rover.

Mainly dealers still use their own vehicles for off road days.

Nothing wrong with that at all, but always ask what its been used for!

Thanks for the tip. My current car is OY61 but its black so nothing to worry about. I wouldn't buy silver anyway.

One of the swaying factors when I bought my OY60 XS was that it was an ex LR company car. I had a good look around underneath and there was no evidence it had ever seen anything other than tarmac. My rationale was that if it ever needed anything replacing or mending it would have been done.

When I buy my next one I won't go for an OY, OV or OE, simply because they tend to be higher mileage. As Badger says, Ex Demo is the way to go.  _________________

Silver OV reg 3500 miles HSE SD

On its third gearbox by 7,200 miles, as well as complete new front wheel bearings, new oil cooler (gearbox) and track rod end, otherwise its been fine

The big giveaway is in the rear on right, some still leave the fitted fire extinguisher in some remove but it will always leave a hole in side plastice trim

£28945 was my build price on LR website,......gs met paint,clear veiw pack,design pack,full spare,privacy glass,,,,discount by dealer and came down to £26500.... Plus a £1400 contribution from LR as a existing customer...so £25100 ! happy with that ...........and half a tank of fuel I squeezed out of them before I gave my deposit. Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack.
