... I love it.

Swapped it for a 2011 Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer that I got last November. Ummed and rrrr'd about doing it as I normally keep a car for 3 years and I was also getting an older car.

All I can say is I wish I'd done it last November.

I love:

the driving position (I'm 6ft 5")
the build quality
the built in sat nav although I'm a computer geek and I would love to be able to crack it and put a better SAT NAV package (like IGO primo) in its place
the quality of sound of the hi-fi.

What don't I like

the display panel - so boring. The Insignia had tonnes of info - like digital speed. You get used to it
the fact I got a puncture after 700 miles of having it and had to replace the tyre (well two to ensure I replace a pair)
the fact I am one of those that have the 'no AM radio' feature
my passenger side rear door isn't responsive to central locking
how to properly secure the jack in place. Seems so heath robinson to me.

And if I'm nit picking:

No DLR's (got used to them)

Mods I'm planning:

Already purchased replacement Osrams for the front and LED side lights
Colour co-ordinated wing mirrors and door handles (without wishing to incur the wrath of anyone maybe even chrome!!!)
Some way of getting AM radio - I love radio 5
Rear spoiler

I will continue to avidly read this forum. I find the posts really interesting. Keep them coming.

p.p.s bring on the snow. I want to turn that little knob clockwise and laugh at all those Insignia drivers!!!!

I agree about the dashboard and it being a little dated and I would like the addition of a digital speedo. Luckily the MY13 now has one!

The colour coded handles and mirrors will make the car look so much better, I'm glad that my SD4 came with them.
