July What Car? F2 v Kuga V Tiguan v CR-V

The latest edition of What Car is a feast for anybody looking for a smaller SUV, 1st off is the new Volvo XC60 - 4 page 1st test (the car is the vilest shade of green you have ever seen too, with a matching interior!), then there is the BMWX6 further in and then a "Big Group Test" of the Kuga 2.0ltr Titanium, CRV 2.2 Diesel ES, Freelander2 TD4 GS and the Tiguan 2.0Tdi SE.

Members here have nothing to worry about, the Freelander2 is still tops! The verdict "Freelander opens up vistas that drivers of rivals can only dream of" Kuga gets the thumbs down - it's too compromised,

Next month What Car? will be 1st testing the Q5 How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
Now driving - RRE Coupe Dynamic Lux Auto with Plus pack, Fuji White, Ebony, SD4 with tow pack
Gone - 2010MY FFRR TDv8 Stornoway and Ivory, Privacy - the pace of a TDv8 RRS, the incomparable grace of a Range Rover
Gone but will be missed- RRS Tdv8 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather
Gone (only a little missed) RRS Tdv6 2.7SE Giverny Green/Aspen
Defender 90 County HT in Epsom Green

NP, you should still buy a copy at the airport - the item is worth reading for what it has to say about the other 3 cars, despite F2 being way more expensive than the the others, the only question mark over it is a hang over from F1, how reliable will it be! The item about the XC60 is also worth a read coz F2 is going to have a serious fight on it's hands.when that comes on the market. Even though XC60 isn't launched until late 2009 almost all 4000 destined for the UK have already been sold! Land Rover could only dream of preselling most of the 1st year's production of the F2, although they got a good taste of what it's like with the RRS which had a 9 month waiting list at launch. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

CG. You should be OK. The Caravan Club National Rally is at Holkham Hall, near Wells on Sea, Norfolk over the Spring Bank Holiday.
I'll put in a good word for you for next year.
