Has anyone had any experiences with M-Tech brakes?

I need to do the FL2's discs and pads and I am considering the cross drilled and grooved black edition discs from M-Tech.

Got the idea here in France after looking at a 13 plate ML350 which had cross drilled discs.

Any experiences?

Landy had Drilled Brakes, but they were Britpart ones.

Going to order these next week. It looks like the car will be staying with us for another year so I may as well do the discs an pads, and get the drilled/grooved versions.

I would first see if I could get some aeroquip flexy hoses. They transformed the braking on an MGB I once had. Made the pedal really firm. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

+1 for the aeroquip hoses. I replaced all the flexibles on an ancient Ducati with these and that improved the feedback and response of the Brembo' s on the front. Couldn't do anything for the back, it was a mechanical drum brake.

Mav - have you ever suffered from brake fade on the Freelander? I certainly have not. All drilled and/or grooved discs will do is aid cooling and thus put off the brake fade point. They are unlikely to improve cold braking (in fact, if you think about it, the friction area is actually reduced by the drilling and grooves).
