If the tyres are tough hard rubber AT's then they can be deadly in the wet. |

Mine runs on GY Wranglers for summer and Avon Ranger Ice for winter. Cannot fault either on the FL2. I would guess the Hankooks are your problem. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Never had this problem and have been shunting along in all sorts of conditions......more or less always had Wranglers on running standard pressures and find it really secure.

I've run Goodyear, Pirelli and continentals and never had any issues in wet weather, last year I ran the Evoque on 20 Pirelli summers all winter with no problems, I agree with the others the Hankooks maybe don't suit the Fl2. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

My Land Rover Experience contact tells me that they use the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R on all the expedition vehicles but the majority of these are Disco's and RR's. Bill T. Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club. Licenced MSA Radio Operator for 35+ years. Rallying is the only sport. |

Thanks for the feedback on tyres. Time for a change before it starts getting into Autumn/Winter.
