RRS looking favourite here, not sure on timescale though so it may change depending on circumstances.
Disco is just not stylish enough, practical, spacious yes but so are most boxes, I need something more personally Confused

I suppose it depends on things like ego, snobbishness and 'look what I got' but where can I park the bloody thing versus 'what do I need' and 'does it do what I want it to' practicality. Thumbs Up

Don't get me wrong AD, inside is lovely, spacious and lots of gadgets, it just needs something on the outside, although admittedly I did see one the other week in an ice blue type colour, that turned my head Whistle

Mauritius blue Taz?

I'm not serious about changing mine until next year. I will most likely buy another FL2, just a bit curious. Wink

I simple cant afford a RRS in its new guise, in its old form I would worry about losses when I came to sell it, as the new one would be well in to been available on the second hand market and as such resale would be hit IMO

I suppose you coud say the same for the FL2 too, with the new one use shortly, the my13 fl2 I had on Friday was a pleasure to drive, suspension seamed stiffer, more powerful and the 850 meridian stereo was cracking, looks wise still not changed enough Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I don't think the FL2 is practical enough for a family either, I would be looking for something bigger if mine were at home and at an age where everything they own needs to accompany them on a days outing Laughing
But just two of us and the dog plus ample power to tow the 'van' suits me. Horses for Courses Thumbs Up

my circumstances are much different now, no longer have the need for new and put tons of miles on, 8 mile commute to the office and the odd trip around the North West.
Used RRS will do me

The RR was always my dream car, but because of that attitude, those days are gone!

Thumbs Up when my time comes, I'll just have to see what takes my fancy, FL2, D4, Audi or something not even thought of Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

All this talk of discos is giving me itchy feet, I absolutely loved my D3 but I sold because I spent most of the time in it myself. I'm really tempted to go back to one maybe next year, I've got an excuse now I have two greyhounds that would appreciate the gargantuan boot.

For me it's a great all rounder, tows like a train, seats 7 adults in comfort not like those pathetic seats in the sport and the best van on the road. I hope LR retain the stepped roof line, that to me is the Discoverys signature shape.

The outgoing RRS is just a Disco in a party dress, no more a Range Rover than Freelander. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
