United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver
Debating what to buy next!

Well the time to change vehicles is getting near. Do I stay with a newer Freelander, has to be auto and red, or do I return to the Discovery, which I also love.
Main criteria is it has to be Red and an auto box.
Looking forward to your comments!

We will still be keeping our Disco 1, which is the best vehicle I have ever owned! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

Without a doubt the Discovery, I miss mine. Depending on what the next Freelander looks like, the Disco may be my next car. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

The next Freelander is supposed to be a mini disco. Might get the best of both worlds Thumbs Up 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

New models = new problems Sad

Better to buy what you know, the FL2 will have had 7/8 years of tuning out most problems and should end up quite reliable, OK the styling and glitziness is not there like other crap offerings but with new models come new problems.

I will take one of the last model FL2's Thumbs Up

As much as I like the D4, it needs to be more economical and look less like a van. Loved my dads D2, it had a few faults but it was a brilliant car. If I were to upsize it would probably be a RRS! But I would test drive the D4 aswell.

RRS won't be any more economical than a Disco + the RRS is for posers Thumbs Up p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
