Sometimes I thinking about a new car... like every man does.

What should I buy, a FL again? -> the Freelander 3!
Other, in my opinion, great cars are Volvo XC70, A4 Allroad and Skoda Octavia Scout.

I need a big thrunk for my stuff and both dogs, 4WD and the possibility to hitch a trailer of at least 2000 kg.
I've tried a Evoque, but its too small... waiting for the FL3?!

The hight of the Freelander is great in terrain, but at the same time disadvantage to access the trunk for the dogs.
Both are in a good condition to jump in, but when they are a little older...

What do you think?

If you want to compare the Volvo, Audi and Skoda to the Freelander 2 then you need to be thinking down the lines of the XC60, Q5 and dare I say it Yeti

Launch date for Freelander 3 is 'early 2015'. a little bit of a wait, but hopefully it will be worth it. Just as long as it's not a larger size Evoque and has distinctly different styling.

I hope rchrdleigh is right about 2014 for the long-awaited new FL3! It's earlier than I feared it may be.

I also hope the much acclaimed plug-in diesel-electric hybrid engine will be in production by then and will be one of the engine options available!!  Life is not a dress rehearsal!
