Retrofit front door Puddle lights

Hi guys,

My name Is Alex and I won a Freelander 2 MY2007 Td4 manual. I really love this car it's just about perfect.I also like to modify my cars so I can call them my own,it's a hobby and passion of mine.
So you can imagine I started with my freelander as well, but i got hung up at the door puddle lights, I bought the lamps and fitted them to my door using some beer and a dremel Smile now all I need is to plug them into the door module but I don't have the wire.Land rover only sells the whole wiring loom for the door,no wire couplers or only the wire. So i need to do the wire my self Rolling Eyes .I have searched and searched but can't seem to find Ford wire couplers and connectors. I don't even know the part# of the couplers.

Did anyone do this mod? Seems very simple if i can find the damn couplers.

Thank you

First you need to use a multimeter and check that the 2 pins at the module actually have live and earth respective to the pins. I did the same in principle for adding the door mirror approach lights only to find the pins were 'dead'.
You may need to have the module reprogrammed to activate the pins.
