Tracking

Hi all, I did the tracking on my 07 FL2 this weekend, using nothing more than my good old fashioned slider gauge.
My car had been scrubbing the outer edge of the LHS tyre, and the steering felt heavy so knew something was up.
Front toe out is less than a degree according to a post on here, so as a simple fix I set the tracking up with the gauge tight to the rear and looser towards the front.

It was an easy job, just the one big nut against the track rod end to slacken, and adjust the rod coming out of the steering rack. Initially I had something like a finger width of toe in Surprised Once corrected the steering feels really light and positive. Going to see how it wears with the old tyre before replacing, but it seems to drive a lot nicer.

Well I am not sure I am as accurate as the guys at the dealership with their lasers etc, however I couldn't live with the amount of toe in it had! If anything I've helped my tyre life.

no idea, but I think it's had a bit of "action" down the LHS, the side step bracket was a bit dented. I don't know, maybe it was enthusiastic kerb bouncing? It's last owner was female Mr. Green
