Air blower works a treat all the accumulated dust etc under the seats along the seat rails etc, blasted out in a few seconds. needs a heavy duty compressor however, luckily my mate keeps a 3 phase one on the farm and with 50 meters of house nowhere is safe when I start blasting. At work

I got a kents jumbo m/f for drying, it's great, better than a chammy cloth. I'm going to get some meguiars tyre black, then was looking at turtle wax tar remover and turtle wax back to black then I was looking at some wax. My idea was to get budget stuff to start with just to learn how to detail.

Ive been using the meguires tyre gel its superb applied with their sponge but any would do doesn't fling off and really shines the tyres. I use autoglym shampoo it doesn't really foam up that much though.

I've started to use Carplan Liquid Gold shampoo. It states that it doesn't leave water marks and is self drying. As my Freelander is black I wanted a shampoo that didn't leave watermarks as I cant be bothered drying it.

Well I can honestly say it works. Extremely pleased with the finish it leaves once dry.

I use Dodo juice basics of bling shampoo which works a treat , it lathers up lovely and lifts the dirt & grime off , my other shampoo of choice is Finishkare fk1016 polywash . Both available from here http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/
