Vampires are real, I saw them on the documentary called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, very informative and they ran a series or two of them and the presenter was knowledgable Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Seems to me that you guys own all the knowledge in the world. Everyone else who have a different point of view is an idiot and should be blamed. Please do your homework before discussing about this subject, otherwise YOU may look like an idiot. Don't be so puerile ...

What about this two scientists, they are also idiots, right ?

You should perhaps read your own references! Vallee's page, for example, reports that he has published a paper titled "Five Arguments Against the Extraterrestrial Origin of Unidentified Flying Objects" in which he states "It is the view of the author ... that the facts do not support the common concept of "space visitors." And whilst Hynek is more ambiguous he certainly doesn't propose the existence of such visitors. Those references do not support your case.

You are not, I think, going to get the kind of comments you want on this forum. Land Rover owners are, for the most part, grounded in reality!

I didn't expected to create a debate by posting the first link. I only wanted to share that information. That's all.

I also don't support the the idea that UFOs are some kind visitors from some place in the universe. But one thing is for sure, this phenomena is real, what is hiding behind it is a different story.

Thanks anyway for your replay !

And here is the book you've mentioned:
www.ufocasebook.com/valleearguments.pdf

Conclusion from this book:
Exciting as an extraterrestrial visitation to earth would be, this paper has
pointed out that in the current state of our knowledge UFO phenomena are
not consistent with the common interpretation of this hypothesis. Neither
do the observed patterns support the theory that all UFOs can be explained
as combinations of natural effects, or as psycho-sociological processes.
Therefore it is proposed that future research in this field could fruitfully
explore alternative hypotheses, such as those involving either natural or
artificial control systems, earth lights or wormhole travel.
The arguments raised here are not intended as a complete refutation of
the ETH or the natural phenomena hypothesis. Until the nature and origin
of UFO phenomena can be firmly established it will naturally be possible to
hypothesize that extraterrestrial factors, including undiscovered forms of
consciousness, are playing a role in its manifestations. But any future theory
should constructively address the facts we have reviewed. At a minimum,
the idea of extraterrestrial intervention should be updated to include current
theoretical speculation about other models of the physical universe.

Just because you believe in little green men visiting to mutilate cows, don't expect people too agree with you just because you do believe it Rolling Eyes

If you wanted a debate, maybe a little more than just a link would have been a better idea

Anyway, just for reference, I do believe in ET's as we can't be the only ones in the universe, but to fly a billion miles and take a bit of beef is a little too far fetched for me Wink Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

As I already pointed above, debate was not in my plan. But I didn't expected such a violent reaction because there is a subject that some people couldn't digest.

I realize now that this topic was a mistake and that's why I propose to close this topic now.

I would say sceptical rather than violent. As for "a subject that some people couldn't digest", I guess that's one way of looking at it. I would rather say that there's a complete lack of hard evidence as to cause, and so I'm not about to jump to any extra-terrestrial conclusions.

Violent, because of some stupid jokes, check above. By the way, where is the moderator of this section ?

Hard evidence - you will almost never have that on 8 o'clock news, this is a sensitive subject.

They're only jokes - no violence intended, I'm sure!

Here is the reason for "violent":

@atlas
You shouldn't put too much at heart....
Here is a quite happy bunch of people who is quite fun once you know them... In a way, different kind of humors from different kind of people.
Wait to see what I've "took" some time ago for some affirmations and posts.
Once I even get mad too, but later I felt sorry for what I've said and I am hopping that it wasn't left with hard feelings...
Thumbs Up
